Master Scuba Diver Instructor (MSDT)
What are the prerequisites?
All PADI Instructors who have certified at least 25 PADI Divers and have earned at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications can be Master Scuba Diver Trainers.
What Gear do I need?
- Soft Gear (wetsuit, Booties, Fins, Mask and a Snorkel)
- Hard Gear (BCD, Regulator, this will be discussed below)
- Cutting tool
- dSMB
- Audible signalling device
- Pocket Mask
I don’t have gear yet, can I rent?
We offer gear rental services to IDC candidates for hard gear only, all candidates need have the above mentioned gear or purchase it.
We offer a discount on all gear purchased through us.
How long will this take?
The MSDT program will take 2 days for 5 specialties.
Curriculum
The MSDT consists of training an instructor how to teach the 5 specialties they have chosen, this is done with the instructor giving presentations as well as practical dives.
What are PADI fees and why aren’t they included
Padi fees are admistration fees that need to be paid directly to PADI to process applications and attend instructor exams, below we will outline all the PADI fees you need to pay directly to PADI.
